Needless to say\, Pauline is an expert in crafting beautiful sparkling wines\, and this Chandon California Rosé is a perfect example of her expertise. \nAslina Cabernet Sauvignon\, Stellenbosch South Africa\nAbout Ntsiki Biyela… \nNtsiki became South Africa’s first Black female winemaker in 2009 and the first Black winery owner in 2016\, it was truly a big deal. Five years later\, she is still rocking it with her winery\, Aslina\, named for her beloved grandmother. \nJoseph Drouhin / Macon-Villages\, Chardonnay\, Burgundy France \nAbout Véronique Drouhin… \nBorn on December 1st at the Hospices de Beaune\, exceptionally on a Wine Auction Day postponed that year\, Véronique had a predetermined destiny. To complete the picture\, she grew up alongside her brothers\, running through the vineyards. She chose the path of oenology at the University of Dijon and was the only woman in her class of 1985. Her education took her to Bordeaux and naturally to the family estate\, where she worked alongside winemaker Laurence Jobard\, as well as to Oregon to write a new chapter in the Drouhin family’s history. \nWhiplash Jamieson Ranch Vineyard Pinot Noir\, California \nAbout Linda Trotta… \nLinda started her career in winemaking over three decades ago in California’s Sonoma Valley and continues to be a trailblazer in the industry. Trotta also serves as chair of Wine Women — a professional organization that advocates for the advancement of women working in the wine industry.
