The Gilded Tour: Champagne & Charcuterie at Elkins Estate
Experience the Grandeur of Elkins Estate
For the first time ever, the magnificent Elkins Estate opens its doors to the public for a guided tour of Elstowe Manor, a Gilded Age masterpiece nestled within 42 acres of rolling gardens in Elkins Park, just minutes from Philadelphia. Owned and operated by the award-winning By Landmark, this gilded happy hour invites guests to see inside one of the country’s most stunning private estates.
On Thursday, November 20th beginning at 5:00 p.m., guests will be welcomed with a glass of champagne and invited to enjoy charcuterie and light bites before embarking on a guided exploration of Elstowe Manor, where marble columns, frescoed ceilings, and glittering chandeliers reveal the splendor of a bygone era. Built in 1898 for businessman and philanthropist William L. Elkins, the estate stands as one of the region’s finest surviving examples of Beaux-Arts architecture, a lasting symbol of Philadelphia’s Gilded Age prosperity and craftsmanship.
